My Xperience wid BLOGGING...

Not a long time since i first created this blog.Actually it was the curiosity of finding out what attracted so many people towards it which made me do this. And almost a month has passed but i m still trying to figure it out. Here's what i concluded after hours of thinking.... May be its d pleasure of seeing your point of view and experiences printed all across the screen that excites so many people. After all, who doesn't like enforcing his views on others, and that too, when he has the choice of either listening(or rather reading) or completely ignoring the others point. At the same time, it helps in a way, that different people can express their thoughts on a particular subject.Recently, there was an article in the TOI about blogging and it said blogging helps evolve citizen journalism. Not that i disagree, but this is only true as long as it does not add to d confusion(which it usually does) and there's atleast one extremely patient person who cud read all those different point

Rain,Raining,Rained...Manipal III

There's a small pathway going down towards those mountains passing through those jungles obviously...and thats what i was going to follow today.... Small rain drops kept falling on the top of our hill (thats where our college is located ...if u wish!!!) only to coalesce to form bigger drops and then small streams running down along the road from the top, taking with it stones and pebbles, some big some small,at nature's beck and call. As the amount of rainfall grew,so did the volume of water in these streams...which wud then go on to become bigger and bigger....sometimes, forming new channels to go down by the shortest route, and sometimes just following the broken gutters that were supposedly made for this purpose. Well, these small streams would then meet streams coming in from other directions to form Rivulets (thats what they are called....i think...) and keep growing in size....only to meet the river flowing somewhere in the midst of the jungles in the valley below...an

So, the last day of the sem(actually, d day after d supposed to be d last day of d sem) had set in.The atmosphere was laden wid moisture...it cud rain ne time....and the way rains in manipal are,i knew,it wudn't stop for a while.Neways...i had other things to worry about.....and packing those things that were strewn around was d biggest of them... It started off slowly..putting in some things into a box then thinking of taking it home.....removing it frm d box....dumping it back on d bed frm where it had been picked up just a while ago.Thats how i pack my bags....and believe me,thats one of d best ways to pass a day when u r alll alone wid all ur friends already on their way back.... Well, huffing and puffing,I sumhow managed to pack all dat stuff into d boxes....and then dump them in d hostel common rooms as well.Thats when i realised...i had completed all of it before time(for a chnge!!!)....and i had the whole of evening before me to pass.... Wid nothing else left in my room,I d

As is d case wid all great things...this day too began wid a small dream.......just dat, in d end, there wasn't nething great about it.....read on..... It was a beutiful day.....Grey clouds dotted d sky here and there and the sun, having risen just a few minutes ago, was playing hide and seek...and seemed to be enjoying it as well.A perfect day to be out on a picnic, one wud imagine....And then, we were having our own kind of fun....playing cricket in our colony premises. The pitch was soggy, the bat somehow managed to stay in one piece after each shot, and d ball looked like a ball...(from a few angles, that is..)Obviously, the toss wud play a crucial role in such conditions.....and luckily, my team won it.....we batted for some time ...gave them a nice total to chase...and then...it was our chance to field.i being the dumbest fielder, was as usual, sent to the boundary wall to sit and watch.(not that i hated it a bit!!!)but then, something happened...i found myself running after the
